Today, one of the most inspirational people I have ever met, wrote a blog that made me really think. He's working at a LifeTeen retreat center for a whole year, and the way he has already been affected after three weeks is inspiring. I couldn't even imagine picking up my life, and just moving somewhere else. But I truly believe that if it was meant to be for me, God would show me in some way. I hope someday I can be just as adventurous, and jump at the chance to live my life completely for Him. I will continue to pray for him on his journey to dive deeper in his faith. What an inspiration.

Today though, I really saw God at work in my life directly. I was at LifeTeen mass at my church and two of my really close friends decided to go to dinner afterwards at a local restaurant. Of all my friends, they would be some of the few that I can have a serious conversation about God and my faith with. They don't get caught up in gossip at church completely, and we can honestly spill our hearts out over chicken sandwiches and caeser salads. As we were talking about where we were going with our lives, we discovered that no matter what other people did and how it changed us, we could still find God and get through any tough situation. To be able to talk to friends about things like this gives me hope that there are other people like us out there. You might just have to take the time to get to know them. As we continued to discuss what was in store for us, we realized we had been sitting there for 2 HOURS!! Crazy. I hope we can hang out more, and try to bring some of our other friends into our serious conversations. I think they could seriously benefit from it.

Liz
